The conversation with the Russian psychologist, the Doctor of psychology, professor Anatoly Leonidovich Sventsitsky for a long time heading the department of social psychology in Leningrad (nowadays Saint-Petersburg) State University, is executed in a genre of a scientific interview, and continues the series of publications about the role of the personality of the scientist in the history of formation and development of domestic social psychology. The key questions connected with the formation of the Leningrad scientific socio-psychological school of E.S. Kuzmin considered, its contribution to local psychological science defined, results of activity of its founders and followers discussed. In interview stages of professional formation of A.L. Sventsitsky, his reminiscence of collaboration with B.G. Ananyev, E.S. Kuzmin and other scientists are in detail stated.
